Founded in 1986, Hancock & Albanese, Inc. began as a labor-only commercial carpentry firm, and later expanded into a full-service carpentry firm. Today Hancock & Albanese, Inc. handles all aspects of rough and finish carpentry, including construction management of subcontracted general trades packages.
Throughout Baltimore, Washington and Northern Virginia, Hancock & Albanese provides the institutional, educational and commercial markets with quality workmanship.
Hancock & Albanese, Inc. is a member of the Building Congress and Exchange of Metropolitan Baltimore as well as Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. We are a MDOT certified and Baltimore City MBE firm.
Hancock & Albanese takes pride in producing quality workmanship and providing outstanding service to our clients. This would not be possible without our employees, who we consider to be some of the best in the industry. We employ project managers, superintendents/foremen, field tradesmen, full-time estimators and a full supporting office staff. Our average tenure is 13 years with superintendents/foremen tenure averaging 23 years.

Hancock & Albanese also participates in the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Apprenticeship Program. This evening training program is designed to work in conjunction with on-the-job training that students and employees receive through working during the day with Hancock & Albanese. Fees for the ABC Apprenticeship program are fully covered by Hancock & Albanese.
